ResetData launches Australia’s first sovereign public AI factory

Australia has taken a major step forward in building sovereign artificial intelligence infrastructure. ResetData has officially launched AI-F1, the nation’s first sovereign public AI Factory, designed to give enterprises and governments access to world-class AI capabilities onshore, at scale, and without the need for heavy upfront investment.

What is AI-F1?

AI-F1 is a purpose-built supercomputing facility located in Melbourne’s CBD. It features 1,024 NVIDIA H200 GPUs, making it the most powerful public GPU cluster available in Australia. Unlike traditional data centres, AI-F1 is built for modern AI workloads from the ground up.

The facility is powered by liquid cooling technology, which boosts performance while dramatically reducing environmental impact. Compared to legacy air-cooled data centres, AI-F1 delivers:

  • 10x greater computing density

  • 45% fewer emissions

  • Zero wastewater

  • 40% lower operational costs

ResetData co-CEO Bass Salah said: “Our AI Factories will transform the competitive landscape for Australian businesses. Access to this technology was previously limited to a small number of private GPU clusters. Our AI Factory rollout opens up access to AI to accelerate Australia’s economic growth” (ARNnet).

Why it matters for Australia

Until now, many Australian organisations relied on offshore hyperscalers for high-performance AI compute. That raised challenges around data sovereignty, latency, and cost. With AI-F1, enterprises and governments can:

  • Keep sensitive data and IP onshore under Australian law

  • Access enterprise-grade AI instantly with no capital investment

  • Connect seamlessly to existing multi-cloud environments

  • Scale from a single GPU to an entire AI Factory on demand

The AI marketplace

Alongside the physical infrastructure, ResetData is also rolling out the AI Marketplace, a platform of pre-built, NVIDIA-certified AI models ready to deploy in days, not months.

Salah added: “We developed the AI marketplace so that businesses can take on the best tools that are available in the market, but continually iterate the most current tools that become available and more efficient in terms of the cost” (ARNnet).

Backed by strong partnerships

AI-F1 is not only a technology milestone, it is also backed by world-class partners and investors. ResetData is:

  • An official NVIDIA Cloud Partner

  • A Dell Technologies Titanium Partner

  • Backed by Centuria Capital Group (ASX:CNI), which is helping scale the rollout of AI Factories across the country

A national asset for innovation

The launch of AI-F1 is more than a commercial milestone. It represents a new chapter for Australia’s AI journey. Whether applied to healthcare, housing, finance, or sustainability, AI-F1 will enable innovators to solve the nation’s biggest challenges with sovereign intelligence and sovereign infrastructure.
